Next Generation Console Comparison

Next generation Consoles

The past 3 years have been an amazing time for game console enthusiasts because Microsoft and Sony released their next generation game consoles. The new devices have been in the market for some time and the Sony PlayStation has sold 53 million consoles compared to the Microsoft Xbox 1 which only sold about 23 million units worldwide.

Microsoft’s lack of sales can be explained due to their terrible E3 gaming convention release where they did not focus their energy on games yet tried to entice users with additional features that were unwanted. The Playstation however, talked strictly about games and that was what captivated most of the gaming audience.

These charts show that Ps4 has a faster processor than the Xbox 1 and that may be the reason why most gamers prefer it. Overall both consoles are very powerful and are capable of playing games in 1080p. The PlayStation original price was $399 compared to Xbox’s $499.

I feel as though you could have provided a little more information on what things Microsoft had focused on that no one was interested in. The majority of the blog is taken up by the specs which for someone like me doesn’t explain a whole lot. Keep this in mind when you are writing your blogs.

  2. I like your interest in gaming, and your interest in innovation. Your blog is pretty good but I need you to lower the size of the chart because it takes up your whole blog and people loose interest.

I like that you took the time to show the specs of both console, however, you should also explain what they mean, or what they do, so those who aren’t familiar with technology will understand. Overall I like this post, but you need to write more about your opinion of the consoles.

Really great information in the tables, but I really wish there was some more of your own opinion and information about the next generation consoles in your post. Also I think you could’ve added links in your tables because I didn’t understand all of the information.
